League Structure
Regular Season:
Players that do not have a Golfzon handicap will need schedule a complimentary round with our head pro to establish their handicap. Regular season will be a 9-hole stroke play format with handicaps, utilizing the top 2 scores from each team per week. (Gross score minus 9 hole handicap) Each player will play nine holes of individual stroke play each week.
Playoffs:
At the end of 8 weeks, the top 4 teams will move on to the playoffs. Teams will be categorized by A, B, and C players. The A players, B players, and C players from each team will compete against each other in a 9-hole match with each match worth a total of 2 points (6 points available per team match each week). If there is a tie in the score, the match will be halved and each player will receive 1 point towards their team total. In the event of an overall team tie, the lowest combined team net score will determine the winner. The winning teams from the first week of playoffs will move on to compete in the 18-hole championship match the second week for the league title. The losing teams will compete in the second week of playoffs for the 3rd and 4th place spots.
*Substitutions: In the event that a teammate can't make the match, a substitute can be used for the team. The sub would need to play 9-holes prior to the match to establish a handicap, otherwise they would play as a 0.
